The Voice Kids may have unearthed a teenage heart-throb to follow in the footsteps of Australia's international pop star Cody Simpson.
Ethan, of Victoria, may not have been the most impressive of the young artists to sing on Sunday night's show, but he still managed to charm the mentors.
Wearing a fashionable slouch beanie, the 13-year-old possesses an infectious smile and used it to his advantage when choosing which mentor to pick.

But he's lucky he got the chance to move through to the next round because Delta Goodrem and brothers Joel and Benji Madden, who are working as one mentor, were slow to turn.

The twins waited until the last 10 seconds of Ethan's rendition of Ed Sheeran's Give Me Love to spin their chairs while Mel B opted out.
"Very handsome and you have a beautiful voice," Goodrem said while trying to convince Ethan his best chance of winning the series, which carries a $50,000 scholarship, rests with her.
Knowing they were up against luring Ethan their way, Joel tried some charm of his own.
"You remind me of me, the first time I talked to a woman like Delta," Joel said.
Bad luck for Joel because the next possible Simpson or even Justin Bieber, if that's not stretching it too far, chose Delta.
Yet it wasn't all rejection for the Maddens who snared one of the show's biggest voices so far.
Despite telling powerful 13-year-old singer Imogen she was so good there was little they could teach her in the way of singing, the Victorian gave them the nod ahead of Goodrem and Mel B.
"I don't know if could teach you anything about singing, but I love you," he said.
The cutesy prize for the second episode went to 10-year-old Olivia who told the story of how she made $65 busking to give a friend dying of cancer.
Olivia got all three coaches to turn for her version of Katy Perry's Roar.
She then put a question to Goodrem, the Madden brothers and Mel B which was possibly going to be asked at some stage given the age of the contestants ranges from 8 to 14.
"Do you believe in Santa Claus?"
After they all gave the affirmative response, the coaches did their best to lay claim to the very lovable 10-year-old.
"I'm going to go with what my gut says ... or heart or whatever it's called," Olivia said before choosing Delta.
The coaches need to take 15 artists each into the next round and after two episodes, Mel B has filled four spots, the Madden twins have five young artists and Goodrem has six.
